Supplies:
Elmer's glue
Shaving cream
Washable paint or food coloring (I used washable paint to prevent dye from staining hands)
Mix 1 cup of shaving cream, 1 tablespoon of glue and 1 table spoon of paint together in a small bowl. Add more paint and glue as needed until desired consistency is achieved.
Repeat process as needed for each color!
This is a fantastic activity for tactile sensory seekers who love to finger paint and can be a good way to introduce new textures and tactile experiences to kids who are more cautious and prefer to avoid messy play. This activity is also great to practice fine motor skills including coordination, hand strength, and visual motor skills necessary for writing and pre-writing. Have fun and get creative!
