Animal Rescue

Supplies: 

• Masking tape

• Sheet pan

• Animals or figurines

1. Tape animals onto sheet pan. You can use as many or as little tape as you would like to make the activity the "just right challenge" for your kiddo! 

2. Have your child rescue the animal by ripping, pulling, and tearing away the tape. To make this activity more of a challenge for older kids, have them use scissors to cut away at the tape to practice scissor manipulation skills. 

This activity is a great way to practice and increase hand strength, coordination, and visual motor skills needed for writing, scissor skills, play and every day activities!
